? DUNLOP (possibly JAMES DUNLOP)

According to the late Donald Whyte, James Dunlop of Garnkirk and Lillias Campbell a son who died in infancy. He suggested that his name might have been James. Newsletter of the Glasgow and West of Scotland Family History Society, No. 47 Autumn 1996, p. 13]

House of Dunlop claims that this child was born at Garnkirk on 7 April 1691 but this cannot be verified from surviving baptismal records. House of Dunlop
