The engineer and second officer for Eastern Airlines Flight 401 which crashed into the Florida Everglades the night of December 29, 1972. He survived the crash, but died later in a Miami hospital.
For years after the crash, employees swore that his spirit and that of Flight 401 Captain Bob Loft appeared on other Eastern Airlines Lockheed L-1011 aircraft.
