Dinah Sheridan was an English actress, whose films included The Railway Children and Genevieve. Sheridan, who played the mother in The Railway Children, also had roles in The Mirror Crack'd and the BBC sitcoms Don't Wait Up and All Night Long. She played Chancellor Flavia in the 1983 Doctor Who film The Five Doctors.
Dinah Sheridan (17 September 1920 – 25 November 2012) was an English actress with a career spanning seven decades. She was best known for the films Genevieve (1953) and The Railway Children (1970); the long-running BBC comedy series Don't Wait Up (1983–90); and for her distinguished theatre career in the West End.
