Obit from the Middle River newspaper RITES HELD FOR GATZKE LADY ON FRIDAY P.M.

Funeral services were conducted Friday afternoon at two o'clock for Mrs Anton Knutson who passed away at the Roseau Hospital last week from an illness which began May 14th, culminating in death July 19th. Burial was in the Moose River Cemetery.

Clara Taie Knutson was born in Wisconsin April 7, 1897, and when only a year old moved to the Gatzke community with her parents, in 1898. In 1915 she was united in marriage to Anton Knutson, who together with three children are left to mourn her passing. Two sons, Clarence and Douglas are at home while one daughter, Mrs Clarence Hanson lives at Strandquist. Two daughters have preceded her in death.
