Charles and Marguerite entered into a marriage contract dated February 18, 1783. Marguerite was a native of St. Landry Parish and Charles was a native of Pissiquit, Territory of Acadie. Both of Charles' parents were deceased. Witnesses to the contract were Declouet, Phillippe Wisse, Joseph Babin, Antoine Patin, Joseph Bourg, Amant Thibodeaux, Louis Armand Ducret. Marriage contract was filed in St. Martinville OA-vol 3 #71. Charles died on August 29, 1815 at the age of 54 at his home in Carencro. He was buried on August 30, 1815 in the St. Martinville Parish Cemetery by Father Gabriel Isabey. He fathered eight children. Four of his children were still living at home at the time of his death.

Adelaide was baptized on November 1, 1797 in St. Martinville by Father Michel Bernard Barriere. Sponsors were Charles Babineaux and Isabelle Thibodeaux. Adelaide was married in Grand Coteau by Father Hercule Brassac. Witnesses were Anaclet Richard and Francois Breaux.

Marguerite was born at 7 am. She was baptized on September 21, 1788 in St. Martinville by Father DeVa. Sponsors were Theodore Babineaux (uncle) and Ludivine Gilbeau. Marguerite married Frederick a native of St. James parish. Witnesses were Pierre Cormier, Francois Marks, Louis Chemin, Antoine Michel Abel, Joseph Babineaux and Charles Babineax. They were married by Father Gabriel Isabey.

Marie Babineaux was baptized on June 12, 1800 by Father Michel Bernard Barriere in St. Martinville. Sponsors were Dominick Babineaux and Marguerite Dugas. Marie was married in St. Martinville by Father Gabriel Isabey. Witnesses were Maurice Abat, Hyacinthe Jacquet, Francois Marc. Marie died at the age of 28 at her home. She was buried on February 5, 1814 in St. Martinville. Priest was Father Gabriel Isabey. Marie's succession was filed on August 3, 1815 and is number 401 at the Lafayette Court House.

Julienne was baptized on July 5, 1800 by Father Michel Bernard Barriere in during a mission at the home of jean Mouton in Carencro. Sponsors were Jean Comeaux and Marie Babineaux. Julienne was married by Father Gabriel Isabey in St. Martinville. Witnesses were Alexandre Babineaux, Jean Mignon, Michel Euclide et St. Julien, Aurelien et St. Julien, Adelaide Babineaux, Zoe St. Julien and Ursin LeBlanc.
