Note Nancy Parthenia and Catherine Maria Starnes are sisters, 1 year apart Parthenia was the oldest, so we guess a mistake was made on her headstone when marked 1831 like her sister Catherine's - they were not twin's. So, we have Parthenia being born in 1830.

Catherine Maria Moseley (Stearns) was born on March 10, 1827, in Williamson, Tennessee, United States. Her parents were Dr Samuel Scott Stearns and Nancy Matilda Stearns.
Catherine married Peter Guerrant Moseley, II on October 27, 1846, in Williamson County, Tennessee, United States. Together they had the following children:
Peter A. Moseley; Catherine Parthenia; James Lycurgus Moseley; Mabel Adaline Smith; John Ebenezer Moseley.
'Catherine Maria Moseley (Starnes)' husband perished during the Civil War in Yazoo, Mississippi. Her Plantation home, just outside of Yazoo, Mississippi, field houses, crops, and livestock were completely burned and destroyed on January 18, 1858. Her step-mother-in-law, Sarah Sally Brown (Trigg)[Sarah Sally (Trigg) Moseley Brown]was killed, most of the family barely escaped with just a few family heirlooms seeking refuge leaving Yazoo and travelling to Hearne, Texas for a safe and new start in life. Along with her son, John Ebenezer Moseley was her other son, John Lycurgus Moseley. It was said the Moseley family sent assistance from Virginia. It was a new beginning for the Moseley family in Texas.
