Catherine Newcomen married, firstly, Sir Alexander Stewart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Stewart, 1st Bt..[2]

She married, secondly, Arthur Forbes, 1st Earl of Granard, son of Sir Arthur Forbes, 1st Bt. and Jane Lauder, circa 1655.[3]

She died on 8 December 1714 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.[1]

She was the daughter of Sir Robert Newcomen, 4th Bt. and Anne Boleyn.[1]

  • Her married name became Stewart.
  • From circa 1655, her married name became Forbes.[1] As a result of her marriage, Catherine Newcomen was styled as Viscountess of Granard on 22 November 1675. As a result of her marriage, Catherine Newcomen was styled as Countess of Granard on 30 December 1684.

Catherine Newcomen was the daughter of Sir Robert Newcomen, 4th Bt. and Anne Boleyn.1 She married, firstly, Sir Alexander Stewart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Stewart, 1st Bt. and Frances Newcomen.2 She married, secondly, Arthur Forbes, 1st Earl of Granard, son of Sir Arthur Forbes, 1st Bt. and Jane Lauder, circa 1655.3 She married Sir Alexander Stewart, 2nd Bt., son of Sir William Stewart, 1st Bt. and Frances Newcomen, circa 1648.4 She died on 8 December 1714 at Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.1
