The Scots Peerage I: 335 She is identified as the sister of Archibald, Earl of Argyll, in a charter which was issued under the Great Seal of Scotland on 28 June 1498, presumably because her father was dead. Evidence from the National Records of Scotland

28 June 1498: Charter by which James IV, King of Scots, confirms that he has given the office of Bailie of Trouternes, with the four merk lands of Teruga of Duntullyn and the four merk lands of Ardvetfullane, which office and lands were to be held of the king by TORQUELLO MACLOID of LEWIS and his male heirs by KATERINAM CAMPBEL sister of ARCHIBALDI, EARL OF ARGYLL. This office and lands had been in the kings hands because of the forfeiture of JOHN, LORD OF THE ISLES. RMS, 1424-1513: 2424
