About Cary Perkins
Henry Purkins was likely born by 1690 in Old Rappahannock County in the Colony of Virginia. Essex County was established in 1692 from the old Rappahannock County, Virginia.
He married between May 1714 and prior to May 1719 to Cary Caston, a daughter of John Farguson and widow of Class Caston, evidence by Cary "Purkins" submission of the inventory of her deceased husband's estate in Essex County. Henry was bondsman for Cary's administration of the estate of Class Caston in 1714, making it probable Cary was mother to all of Henry's children.
