About Caroline Fyrie
Caroline Fleming married twice. First husband was an " old bachelor gentlemen" Merchant of Chesterfields and had two children by him. Second marriage to James Fyrie of "Blanchford". No issue from that marriage.
He left a will, dated Apr 20th 1762, proved in Chesterfield County. James Deans, Merchant. To wife Caroline. Daughter Mary Deans (unmarried). Sisters Katherine and Christine Deans. Anne and Margaret, daughters of his friend James Murray, of Athol Braes.
