The Will Of William Jones
In the name of God, Amen, I, William Jones, Senr., being very sick and weak but of sound mind and perfect memory praised be God, do make and ordain this my last will and testament making void and _______any other wills heretofore made or nominated. Item. I give and bequeath my soule unto the hands of God that gave it me in hope of eternal joy and happiness and my body to the ground to be decently buryed according to the direction of my Executor hereafter nominated.
Item. I give and bequeath to my loving wife, Elizabeth one feather bed and furniture and half a dozen pewter dishes and a third part of what___ _ ___ ___ that belongs to the estate and four cows and a calf part of the sheep and a stear a year all this during her life, then to return to my Executor.
Item. I give and bequeath to my son HENRY JONES two Cows ?. Item. I give and bequeath to my son WILLIAM JONES one Shilling.
Item. I give and bequeath to my son JOHN JONES one Shilling.
Item. I give and bequeath to my loving son ROBERT JONES all of my land and all of the rest of my Estate of what nature or quality so ever making him my whole and sole Executor of this my last will and testament. In witnesses, my hand and seal this third day of Feb 1712.
