Benjamin Youngs was born about 1640, the son of Reverend John Youngs and Mary Warren.[1] He was Town Recorder and then Town Justice in the period of 1674 until his death in 1697.[1]
It was the Benjamin Young, son of Christopher Youngs Senior, not this Benjamin's son Benjamin, who was Town Recorder when this senior Benjamin became the town justice.
He married Elizabeth ________ , who died 14 January 1725.[2] Their children were John, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Christian.[1] The widow Elizabeth Youngs with her four children was listed in the 1698 Census of Southold.[3]
He died about 1697 in Southold, New York.[1]
