Ariaentje was born about 1703, in Ulster County, New York. Her parents were Jan Van Etten and Jannetje Roosa. Ariaentje married Aert Middagh about 1730, location unknown, but they were probably married in the Aukwagconk Dutch Reformed Church in Sussex County, New Jersey. They were received into the Machackemech DRC near Deerpark in Sussex County, New Jersey on June 19, 1745, but they had probably been living in the area for some time. Aert and Ariaentje were the parents of at least eight children. The deaths of Aert and Ariaentje were not recorded, but they both most likely died in the Deerpark area of Sussex County.
