1914-04-04; Paper: Philadelphia Inquirer MRS. JOSEPH WHARTON Mrs. Anna Lovering Wharton, widow of Joseph Wharton, the iron master, died yesterday at her home, Old York Road and Chelten avenue. Funeral services will be held Monday at noon. She was eighty-four years old and had been ill for some time. Mrs. Wharton was a member of the Hicksite branch of the Society of Friends. She was the daughter of Joseph S. and Anna C. Lovering. She is survived by three daughters, Miss Mary Lovering Wharton, Mrs. Harrison Morris and Mrs. J. Bertram Lippincott.
