When Anna Maria Elisabetha Kuhn was born about 1670, in Langenselbold, Main-Kinzig-Kreis, Hesse, Germany, her father, Johnannes Hans Kuhn, was 48 and her mother, Catherina Gravel, was 42. She married Johann Sebastian Loescher about 1692, in Hochspeyer, Kaiserslautern, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. They were the parents of at least 9 sons and 6 daughters. She died in 1734, in Germantown, Columbia, New York, United States, at the age of 65.

"The German origins of this prominent and prolific N.Y. family were at 6755 Hochspeyer (8 km. e. of Kaiserslautern)... Bastiaen Leiser, his wife, and (ch.) Johan Jacob, Anna Margreet, Anna Lys, Anna Bastiaens, Hans Jury, and 5 (other) children, were on Capt. Bouwel's ship in the 2nd party in Holland in 1709 (Rotterdam Lists)."[1]
"Anna Maria Elisabeth Kuhn prob. b. abt. 1670; m. Sebastian or Bastian Loscher or Loescher, prob. abt. 1688. On June 11, 1709, she arrived at St. Catharines, England with a large family and among a shipment of 1745 Palatines. One authority claims that they arrived at Walworth May 27, 1709, and were thus listed. This family was enumerated there on June 15, 1709, and the husband was then called a Lutheran farmer, a. 40 yrs., with wife (prob. a. 39?), and with 5 sons ages 20, 14, 10, 8 and 6, and with 5 daughters ages 15,12, 6, 4 and 1. Another daughter named Maria Elisabeth was bpt. June 1, 1710, on board the ship 'Midford' as they approached NY, the mother's name also being called Maria Elisabeth (West Camp Lutheran)." [2]
Jones does not offer a last name at birth for Sebastian’s wife (p. 571).
"Hunter Lists #461 "Sebastian Lescher aged 40, his wife, sons aged 20, 14, 10, 8, and 6, daughters aged 15,12, 6, 4, and 1, Luth., husbandman and vinedresser, were in the 2nd arrivals in England later that yr. [1709] (London Lists)."[1] He, his wife Elisabetha, and six children were at Wormsdorff about 1716/17. In the 1720s he was on the Livingston Manor and appeared on debt lists. [1][3]

Research Notes
Although claims have been made that Sebastian Löscher was the son of Solomon La Chaire of New York, no documentation has been found to support this.[4]
