Anna Hutto, first child of Isaac Hutto and wife Maria Catherine von Sturn, was born in 1723 in the Palatinate of Rhineland in Germany. She emigrated with her family in 1735 to South Carolina. She served as an indentured servant from 1735-1739. She married Peter Griffith or Greiffous, another immigrant, May 25, 1742, in Orangburg, South Carolina.
