About Ann Terrell
Biography
There were two sisters, Anne and Agatha Chiles, supposed to have been daughters of Henry Chiles or Micajah Chiles, who married two brothers, Henry and David Terrell, sons of William and Susannah Terrell.
Mary Terrell first married after 1710 in Virginia to Micajah Chiles (d: c1734 VA). Two of her brothers, Henry and David Terrel, married respectively Anne and Agatha Chiles, sisters of Micahah. [1]

When Henry Terrell married Ann Chiles in about 1734, he was living in Caroline Co and a member of Cedar Creek Monthly Meeting, as was Ann. Her parents were not Quakers. She was bom about 1710 and, has been noted before, died in about 1740. Her parents were Henry [SIC] Chiles and Mary Terrell. The parentage of Mary is unknown. Henry Chiles was bom sometime before 1671, probably about 1669, the only child of Walter Chiles Jr and his second wife Susanna.
Henry Terrell and Ann Chiles were married in about 1733 in Caroline Co and their 4 children were bom between 1735 and about 1742, so Ann probably died in childbirth. These children were named in his will. The 2 sons received land in Albemarle Co and the daughters received a slave in addition to “what I have given her before”.
In October of 1743 Henry requested a certificate to Henrico Monthly meeting where he was married to Sarah Woodson, a daughter of Tarleton Woodson.
