Remains of Mrs. M'Culley to be buried at Wapello
Wapello, Iowa, Jan. 25 - The remains of Mrs. Amy Eliza McCulley, who passed away at her home in Winterset, Iowa, Jan. 13, 1918, were brought to Wapello Friday morning and taken to the Harrison church, where funeral services were held at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. W.R. Coventry, and interment made in the Harrison cemetery.
Amy Eliza Finley was born in East Tennessee, Dec. 7, 1831, and died at Winterset, Iowa, Jan.23, 118, age 81 years, 1 month, and 16 days. Deceased moved with her father's family to Lee County, Iowa, in 1840. She was united in marriage to David McCulley, May 3, 1853, who passed away May 17, 1881. To this union were born nine children, three of whom survive, David Carson, Cora, and Eva. Mrs. McCulley united with the Seceder church in childhood and remained a faithful member until the time of her death.
