However her housework included, having a large garden, canning, collecting blueberries, blackberries, walnuts, apples, cherries, and plums. She was also known to collect sprays; these she would sell to florists. She had milk cows from which she got her milk and butter. She raised chickens, and at varying times pigs and geese. No, Grandma never worked outside of the home.
