About Amey Hazard

Note: No burial record has been found for Amey. Her birth year is an approximation based on her first child being born in 1698. She died a few months before her husband, and his will was proved in November 1718, thus she likely died that same year.

Amey was the daughter of Jeffrey-2 Champlin (Jeffrey-1) and Hannah [Cottrell?] of Westerly and Kingstown, Rhode Island. She married c. 1697 Robert Hazard, the son of Robert Hazard and Mary Brownell. She and Robert had six known children born from 1698 to 1718.
