Amanda A. Rice

Amanda A. Spradlin was the daughter of Benjamin F. Spradlin and wife Rhoda Fitzpatrick. She was born in July 1867 in Kentucky. She married John Rice, son of Samuel Rice , Sr and Phoebe Hitchcock, in 1892. She was John's second wife. They had no children. She died in Johnson County, Kentucky on June 30, 1954.

Amanda appeared on the census of 14 June 1900 at Johnson County, Kentucky, listed as Amanda A. age 32 born July 1867 married 8 years with no children, living in home of husband. In the 1930 US Census for Johnson County, Kentucky, Amanda Rice, widow, is living with her parents Benjamin and Rhoda.
