John YATE of Charney, aforsaide, gent, Merchant of the staple and after of Lyford in County Berkshire, second son to Rychard aforesaid, married Johane, daughter and heir of Rychard Goddard of Upham in countie Wiltshire, gennt and by her had issue; Jeames Yate his eldest sonne, Richard Yate of Upham second son, Andrew Yate of Hynton third son, Peter Yate a priest fourth sonne, Barthilimew Yate fifte soone, Thomas Yate and John Yate all died sans issue. Jane married to Phellippe Fetteplace of Charney, Anne married to John Latton, Elizabeth married to Thomas Spycer merchant of the Staple, Margarette married to William Marten"

   After, the said John Yate married to his second wyfe Alyce daughter to Olyver Hyde of sowth Denchwoth in county Berks, esquiire and had yssue Thomas Yate of Lyndford aforsaid and Dorothye married to John Cheyney of West Woodhey in county Berks, esquire, Suzan married to John Warneford of Sevenhampton in county Wiltshire, Gent Marye married to Robert Piggot of County Bucks, Gent. Ursula married to Henrye Brounker in Sokes, County Wiltshire Gent. Winifred married John Marden of London, Draper, Katherin married to John Pates of Buckingham gent, Jane married first to Olyver Wellisborne in West Hannay in county Berks, gent, and after to John Eyston of Easthenrethe in county Berks, gent.
