Alice was born to David Newton "Nute" Collinsworth and Geneva Cummings in Heflin, Louisiana. She died in Shreveport, Caddo Parish, Louisiana.

Alice married Glenn A. Hancock on July 3, 1951 and to this union a daughter was born.

Alice and Glenn lived at 3611 Youree Drive in Shreveport, Louisiana in 1957. In 1958 they lived at 505 Browning in Shreveport, Louisiana.

Alice and Glenn finally came back to Heflin, Webster Parish, Louisiana and built a new home on Collinsworth Land.

They were members of Bistineau Baptist Church and were very active members.
