19 November 1613: Charter issued under the Great Seal of Scotland by which James VI, King of Scots, confirms a charter by which James Tweedy of Drummelzer confirms that for the sum of 1300 merks he has sold the lands of Hopcalzie-Wester, with the mill and mill lands thereof, in the parish of Hopcalzie and sheriffdom of Peebles, to Sir Robert Stewart of Schillinglaw and his wife Alie Cockburne.
