Alice Mabel Brunk

Mrs. Alice Mabel Brunk, 90, of Rt. 10, Harrisonburg died early Saturday morning at the home of her daughter, Mabel Brunk, where she had been living for 2& years. Mrs. Brunk had been in failing health for the past year. She was born May 7, 1886 in East Lewistown, Ohio and was a daughter of the late Simon and Mary Yoder. On May 20,1911, she married Joseph E. Brunk, who died in 1973. She was a member of the Mennonite Church. Besides her daughter, she is survived by another daughter, Adella Kanagy of Fairfax; two sons, Ivan Brunk of Lombard, ni. and Milton Brunk of Goshen, Ind.; a brother, Harvey Yoder of Newport News; a sister, Amanda Shenk of Harrisonburg; 10 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. The body will be taken from the Kyger and Trobaugh Funeral Home to the Rieth, Rohrer and Ehret Funeral Home in Goshen, where the funeral will be held 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, with burial in Clinton Union Cemetery. A memorial service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday at Goshen College Mennonite Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be given to the Elkhart County Cancer Society in Indiana.
