Alice Bowes-Lyon

Alice Wilshire was born at Bristol, Gloucestershire, England. She was the daughter of George Wilshire and Charlotte Jones. She married Major Patrick Bowes-Lyon, son of Claude Bowes-Lyon, 13th Earl of Strathmore and Frances Dora Smith, on 9 August 1893. She died on 1 March 1953.

Her married name became Bowes-Lyon.
