Like most Scots who immigrated to Ulster, Northern Ireland, Kelso is a town located in the Scottish Lowlands and is also known as the Scottish Border area, It is quite likely that Alexander's ancestors migrated from the Scottish Highlands to the Lowlands during difficult economic times. Alexander died 1714 in Londonderry, Northern Ireland. He married CATHERINE MONTGOMERY 1705 in Ireland, daughter of HUGH MONTGOMERY and JANE HAMILTON.
