"State of NORTH CAROLINA-CHATHAM COUNTY- Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions August Term 1861-Joseph Segraves, Add'r of Charles Segraves, dec'd vs. Thomas Boon and wife, Cindrilla, and Albert Segraves.
In this case it being made to appear to the satisfaction of the Court: that the defendants, Thomas Boon and wife, Cindrilla, and Albert Segraves are non-residents of the State, it is ordered that advertisement be made in the Raleigh Standard for six weeks for said defendants, notifying them to appear at the next Term of this Court, to be held for the county of Chatham at the Court House in Pittsboro, on the 2nd Monday of November next, then and there to plead, answer or demur to this petition, otherwise judgment pro confessor will be taken as to them."
In testimony of which I do hereunto sign my name and affix the seal of office of said Court, at office in Pittsboro, the 2nd Monday of August 1861.
