About Alan Dale Badder
Alan Dale Badder, 62, of Bronson, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. A private memorial service will be held at Lighthouse Funeral & Cremation in Union City. Alan’s ashes will be interred at Sherwood Cemetery. A public memorial gathering will be held on Monday, September 21, 2020 from 1:00-3:00 PM at Lighthouse in Union City. Alan was born May 5, 1958 in Coldwater, MI to Dean and Helen (Littlejohn) Badder. He grew up in Sherwood and graduated from Union City High School in 1976. Alan was a carpenter in his early years. He was employed in several machine shops doing CNC work. He had a bubbly personality and liked picking on people. His kids and grandkids were very important to him. He loved fishing and taking the grandkids fishing. He also enjoyed going up north, looking for Petoskey stones, camping, golfing, woodworking and hunting. He was especially proud of the eight-point buck he got with his grandson, Buddy, last hunting season. Alan is survived by his children, Aaron (Sara) Badder of Mississippi, Bud (Emmy) Denman of Bronson, Nikki (Abraham) Gutierrez of Sturgis, Brandi (Haj) Badder of Oklahoma, Bradley Badder of Michigan and Cendall (Rodney “JR”) Jeffries of Union City; his siblings, Tina (Larry Younce) Badder of Union City and Sonya (Jim) Gordon of Coldwater; 16 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his companion, Nancy Denman of Bronson.
