The lawsuit of 1790 was over the gift of 2 slaves, not mentioned in the will, to the two youngest sons, DRURY LUDWELL & JAMES LUDWELL LEE. Agnes, their mother about to marry JOHN ROGERS, gave the slaves to the boys. The other heirs of JAMES LEE were suing for their part of the slaves. (Edgecombe Estate)

The source for all the data during the Colonial Period came from one master source. This source is a
three volume set titled "KINFOLKS", by William Curry Harlee, published back in 1934. the volumes are described as "Genealogical and Biographical Records" of Seven Different Family Names, one of which was "Andrew and Agnes (Cade) Fullmore." This section had a total of 47 pages of data on "Cade". All of the Colonial data came from these pages. They are in Volume #2 and are pages number 1072 through 119
