Her birthplace is also seen as 'Eltonhead Castle', Lancashire, England. It is said that she & a number of her sisters came to Virginia & Maryland due to the Cromellian rule in England & that her father, Richard had been a loyalist. (See his notes.)
From «i»The Search of Mr. Thomas Kirbye, Gentleman«/i» by Noel Currer-Briggs 1986: Agatha Eltonhead, who married 2nd Ralph Wormeley and 3rd Sir Henry Chicheley, is shown as having a first husband William Kellaway. Pg 3
If so, she was married four times for she was the widow of Luke Stubbins when she married Wormeley c1682-3. She returned to England after the death of her second husband. A society for Magna Carta descendants lists Agatha Eltonhead/Wormley & several other Eltonhead females-her sisters. I would like to confirm their Magna Carta descent.
«i»Descendants of Richard Eltonhed «/i»by Harrison states that Agatha was "of Eltonhead, Northampton, Co. Va."
