II. Eustache le Vieil, lord of Ræulx, adviser of Baudouin IV, count of Hainaut, built the castle of Ræulx and the tower of Morlanwez, married Marie, daughter of Jean, lord of Havrech, peer of the castle of Mons, bearing azure three silver rings, armed, langued and crowned with gold, of which:
1° Beatrix du Ræulx, wife of Gautier, lord of Lens in Hainaut;
2° Nicolas du Ræulx, religious, then bishop of Cambrai, died in 1198;
3° Eustache, who follows:
Ide du Reulx, married :

  1° to Nicolas, lord of Boulers;''' 
  2° to Gautier, Lord of Bousies, and 
  3° to Gossuin de Wavrin.

She left a daughter of Nicolas, lord of Boulers, who bore a golden shield in heart. This daughter, named Alix, lady of Boulers, married Rasse DE GAVRE, lord of Liedekercke and Breda;
5° Alix.
