Seeking information re: Abraham WILDS was born 1734 in England, and died 1784 in Kent Co., DE. He married Mary (Unknown). Family information says that the Wiles Heritage is Jewish and Dutch.
Their son, Abraham WILES was born 1760 in Kent Co., DE?, and died Aft. 1837 in Wilkes Co., NC. He married (1) Anna Baltrup April 19, 1787 in Guilford Co., NC. He married (2) Winnie Auberry Abt. 1798, daughter of Thomas Aulsbury and (Unknown). Abraham enlisted in the Delaware infantry, March 06, 1781, as a private in the Flying Camp Battalion of the Delaware Blues of the Delaware line. He was at the capture of Cornwallis at Little York, VA. In 1782, a wagon ran over both feet, breaking bones, crippling him for life in Greensboro, Guilford Co., NC and he never returned to Delaware. He is buried on the Abraham Wiles farm, Wiles Ridge, Wilkes Co., NC.
