Abigail Gibbs was born on 29 June 1728 at Swansea. She was the daughter of Robert Gibbs and Hepziebeth Tisdale.

Abigail Gibbs married George Terry, son of Benjamin Terry and Margaret Holloway, on 24 February 1744/45 at Swansea. Her married name was Terry.

Abigail Gibbs died after 18 April 1785.
