About Abigail (Cobb) Adams Hale

Abigail Cobb was the daughter of Gideon Cobb Sr.

She was the second wife of Captain Samuel Adams, son of Captain Joseph, born in Canterbury, Conn. Sept 4, 1710, who died Dec. 21, 1760. Their children were Gideon, Eunice, Nathan, Sarah & Joseph. After the death of Samuel Adams she married Dea. Richard Hale, father of Capt. Nathan Hale, the American Spy. She d. August 21, 1809, Coventry, Conn.
