Biography

Abigail Churchill was the daughter of Eleazar and Mary Churchill of Plymouth, Massachusetts, born circa 1680 (based on birth order and the date of her parent's marriage) [1] [2] [3] [4]

On May 17, 1702, she married Francis Billington was the son of Joseph and Grace Billington of Plymouth, Massachusetts[5] [6] [7] [8] [4]

Their children were born in Plymouth[9]:

Sarah, born December 11, 1702[9] [7], who married James Howard[10] Marcy born January 1, 1704[9] , who married Matthew Lemote[11] [7] Francis born February 16, 1708[9] [7] Jemima born June 12, 1710[9], who married Joseph Bent[12] [7] Content born February 2, 1712[9], who married Francis Merrifield [7] first and Samuel Ransom second[13] Abigail born October 21, 1716 who died young[9] [7] Joseph born January 11 1718/9[9] [7] After Francis died, on January 25, 1725/6 she married Nathaniel Howland as his second wife[14] [3] [15] [16] [4] [17]. There are no children noted for this marriage.
