About Aaltje Dieksdr Jans

from https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Jans-20

Aaltje Jans (a.k.a. Aaltje Jansdochter) was the wife of Jan Cornelisz Damen. They resided in the hamlet of Vechten in the village of Bunnik, Utrecht, Netherlands.[1] Jan Cornelisz Damen and his wife Aaltje Jansdochter, residents of Bunnik, made a joint will on 29 May 1619 in which they gave each other life interest in their estates. [2]

Children of Jan Cornelisz Damen and Aaltje Jansdochter were:[3][4]

  1. Jan Jansz Damen, born about 1607, married Adrienne Cuvellier. He traveled to New Netherland during the period 1627-1635 and died in New Amsterdam on 18 June 1651.
  2. Hendrikje Jansz Damen, married first to Cornelis Buys and second to Peter Gijsbertsz van Seyst. She died before 1649.
  3. Comelis Jansz Cuyper, married Marrichge Gerrits. He died between 1649 and 1652.
  4. Cornelis Jansz Damen, lived in de Marsch at Vechten in Bunnik. He died circa 1665 or 1666.
  5. Willem Jansz Damen, married Adriaentgen Zanders. She who died as a widow shortly before 1676, so he had died earlier.
  6. Neeltje Jansz Damen; her second husband was Peter Dirksz van Doom. In 1652 she lived at de Marsch at Vechten.

Aaltje's husband Jan Cornelisz Damen died some time before 3 January 1627, when their son Jan Jansz Damen certified that he was satisfied with the legacy he had received from his father's estate.[5] It is likely that Aaltje had also died by this time, since the joint will she had created with her husband gave her life interest in his estate.
