1st wife of Robert Brashears

The first wife or wives of Robert Brashier (Brashears) has been seen as Elizabeth Fowke (m 1661) and / or Mary Waring (m 1665). Huguenot Society has (perhaps) Florence Reyes. Apparently there is no documentation. Geni is currently (March 2021) representing her as unknown. Discussion welcome. She is supposedly the mother of all his children, and he married his 2nd wife, Alice, by 1679.

In Generation No. 2, ["Descendants of Benois Benjamin Brashear," World Family Tree CD, vol. 6, submitted by Chris Haynes] has Robert Brashear, s/o Benois and Mary, m.1. "Florence Unknown"; m.2. Alice Jackson. I don't know who Robert's first wife was; I suspect she was a daughter of Thomas Paget Sr, but the documents are mighty scarce. The Huguenot Society of America thinks that Florence ?Rey (they, too, were uncertain of her surname) was wife of Robert Brasseur Jr, brother of Benois--that is, uncle to Robert Brashear, III, who signed his will as Robert Brashier. His second wife was Alice _____, widow of Thomas Jackson; at the time she renounced her right to administer Thomas Jackson's estate. This is too late to be mother of any of the Brashear children. .

Page 88, "A Brahsear(s) Family History" by Charles Brahsear and Shirley Brasher McCoy: Thomas Paggett daughter could have been Robert's first wife.
