Sorry you all , I have added some one: Anna Magnani a great actress. But did it at m onw simple way, so not very "nead". Can someone whenever take care of it? Ik maakte er een zootje van (is Dutch). Sorry!

Anna was indeed a GREAT actress. I've seen her in so many movies, but wasn't sure of her name. (I fixed it).

Keep on going, lets see more! lol

Yeah thank you for fixing !And sorry it will happen again and again. I'm rather ....... with this kind of stuff....
So you have to come in action some more times :-)
Or I add nothing? ;-)

Yes she was a great great actress and I found her beautiful, not Hollywood or Loren beautifull but as Simone Signoret. Do you know her too? Great French actress untill high age and beautiful too at high age.

Anna Magnani and Simone Signoret were fantastic actresses, faces full of character, so expressive. Great suggestions, keep them coming Jennie!

Not yet forgotten: but I sure want to add
Marlene Dietrich, Katharine Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman

Liv Ullmann :-)
must not be forgotten...

Giulietta Masina
van La Strada and Ginger et Fred...
Italian actrice and wife of Frederico Fellini

Erica, Kwame, how about a project

Best books ever written....

Is you to blame Kwame I saw you followibg Erich Maria Remarque
van het westelijk front geen nieuws (in Dutch). there are so many great books!

Jeanne Moreau

Can you add it Kwame?

Yes I've got one more: Michelle Mercier from the Angelique films,
All my brothers and later on boyfriends were in love with her....

For me Count Jeffrey de Peyrac.... handsome, dark, a bit scary....

Mmm a count must be family....... ;-)

Cannot we start famous actors? I'n inspired by Robbert Hossein

Kwame, again work for you! :-)

Can you add Annie Girardot? Famous French actrice!

Go ahead, started a Forgotten Actors project.
Just add me as collaborator.

yeah yeah I have to add you anyway because otherwise it becames a Jennie zootje (a big mess) LOL

No pin ups Kwame! Or the male... dont know how you call it.... Just actors, world wide famous but also nation wide or continental.
Well I start it but it take a moment .... pffffffffff english pffffffffff
or shal I put it in Dutch? Than you may translate it into English.
Yes it's a good deal! :-)

Jennie

The American term is "eye candy." :) :)

I understood your Dutch just fine!

a male pin up? is an eye candy?

sweet for the eye....? :-)
I don't even know the dutch word.... maybe in Holland we have no eye candies? just farmers...... :-)
we call some one we like very much (with the eye) een lekker ding, een stuk (yes we are very romantic ... ;-) )

Yes, a sweet treat for the eye, nice to look at, like good chocolate is to taste. But it can be either male or female.

Google translate says "a good thing, a piece" which isn't very good. So another source said:

"Dutchies say it meaning "sexy thing" .... that sounds better.

Mmmmm no we say: That's a stuk waaauw or een lekker ding but sexy thing..... no we are not romantic in our expressions

"Eye candy" popped on my home page, so I had to come check this discussion out!!!

Cary Grant
Rock Hudson

MY ultimate eye candy: Paul Michael Glaser - "Starsky".... ooo la la!

Ooh ooh...and he is on Geni!!!

Private

Private profile, though... :(

?: Can curators make private but famous profiles public, or only the manager?

Hutch is here too, but also private: Private

Anita: Starsky ooooh lala? Not forgotten by you I think! LOL

What an intelligent question abiut private profiles , ppffff it's here 4 00 AM

I think when you collaborate it becomes for you available...

Must say at 10 AM I give you the same answer.... dunno.... :-) only guessing.

Kwame you have the right answer let us know!

@ Anita, so an eye candy brought you to family in the Netherlands..... what a special effect LOL

Eye candy is special stuff!!!!

Only the manager can make famous living person's private profiles into public ones. Or anyone PRO can start a tree that is unconnected to their own family and build it out - proper genealogy and sourcing of course.
