I can do another round of cleanup / merging up in that area, starting with Jemima Hatch.
My point of connection to the Hatch tree is:
Dorcas Hatch
Mark
Would you be able to help out by further documenting these profiles? I can help you learn "how."
Also I see the Nye tree, which intersects, is actively being worked, including with original sources. If you don't collaborate currently with John H. Nye maybe send him a Collab request?
I'll also be glad to help here, if needed. I'm interested in seeing how Mark and I are related, once the tree gets modified to add Jemima Hatch (Smith) and descendants.
My point of connection to the Fuller tree is that Samuel Fuller and Jane Lathrop are my direct ancestors (8th great grandparents approx). Samuel Fuller is the son of Edward Fuller.
Well this turned out to be quite interesting to research.
lived in the oldest house on Cape Cod. I added a document to her profile where you can read about it:

and also added her and her husband to the project:

I also enjoyed this bit of trivia and may look into it more:
From "Barnstable Families": SMITH. Rev. John Smith, dissident minister, was born in England about 1614. He was an early settler and Deputy of Barnstable, but left town after a controversy with Rev. Lothrop. Among his sins was pleading tolerance of Quakers, but this brought him back to the church in Sandwich 1673-89. He married the sister of Gov. Thomas Hinckley.
Hatte Blejer (absent until Nov 1)
Did you want to go forward merging up around Lathrop / Fuller now?
The connection is made here:
And the Soule connection is here:
More to discover I'm sure. I am smelling the lobster!
Very nice connect Mark. My kudos to you.

We're having some Cape Cod fun.
Come on over and help out on documenting. We're finding some great stuff.
I just had a total nostalgia moment looking at Cape Cod saltbox houses. It seems that the one my mother just sold - a Nickerson home - was *quite* authentic ... that gray shingle look goes back to 1675!
Erica Howton - I'll take a look at the Lathrop / Fuller merges. We need a Barnstable project by the way, for all my Barnstable ancestors :)
You are making me smell the lobsters. A girlfriend and I took a 3 day trip to Maine last August and ate lobster and lobster roll and clam chowder from one end of Maine to the other, trying all the famous places. I think I'll do that again!
