Hi all,

The link in the following phrase cannot be inserted in the translation:

Private User Try using in-line translation from the "Phrases" view and edit directly in the original English language text suggested. The link and formatting seems to "survive" then.

Hi Oddbjørn Olsen,

Thank you for the hint, but it does not work.

The text to translate contains an HTML "a" tag for the link whith angle brackets (<>) which are automatically escaped to HTML entities &lt; and &gt;.
So the translated phrase contains some non interpreted HTML code.

"Avez-vous vu ce qui a changé ? Nous venons de modifier la barre de navigation pour vous simplifier l'accès aux puissantes fonctionnalités de Geni. Pour plus d'informations, regardez <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDmfgzl2qVk&quot; target="_blank">cette vidéo</a>."

The result at my end; Must admit that I don't know if it will render OK when live...

Vi har nettopp endret menystrukturen for å gjøre det enklere for deg å få tilgang til de forskjellige funksjonene i Geni. Se <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDmfgzl2qVk&quot; target="_blank">denne videoen</a> for mer informasjon.

If you will see such: &lt; and &gt; or < and > after translation somewhere (usually they will appear only if Inline Translation is enabled) then there are 2 solutions:
a) disable inline translatio or
b) to lock these translated phrases.

It was truly fixed ASAP, and caused for me a strange surprise, as I had it translated, and then in a day or two there it was again, untranslated, and corrected.
Thanks for the speed.

You're welcome - sorry for the bad text to begin with!

Używam translatora Google. W translatorze Geni trudno się odnaleźć.

The same in English:
I'm using Google translator. The translator, Geni is hard to find. :o)

Andrzej Wojciech Olejarz Google Translator is not good at all for translation of Genealogy related text.

She seems to have her ingenious ways that even you cannot fathom. Probably searched for "rousseau", and this discussion popped up. Rather interesting approach to the collaboration concept.
