According to the curator's most often relied upon source, Medlands, The wife of Owain ap Hywel and therefore the mother of Maredydd is unknown. Owain ap Hywel has been connected with Angharad Verch Llewellyn, Nest verch Rhodri, & Gwynedd Dda. There are references in the 'about me' overview however they do not seem to be backed up with reliable sources. If anybody can supply some reliable sources supporting any wives of Owain ap Hywel it would be most useful. If none come up soon then I will be detaching the wives as erroneous relationships.
