If its OK with you, I'm going to build out from RJ Reynolds back in time. I think there are a couple of generations missing in Geni. The document I'll use is the PDFGNE03.pdf file I loaded into the Project, which shows him as a descendant through Christopher Reynolds.

That PDF file connects him up to General Zachary Taylor as an ancestor of his cousin / wife's father, Zachary Taylor Smith.
