Wife 2 and 3... Done !

FYI - Wife 2 is a dupe.

Andrew Quinn Champion

Good choices, a big favor though, would you fill out the Overview on some of them.

Pam Karp
Can you tag the "duplicate" here please, or message me it.
I can't follow the blue + and it's very common name.

Dear Curators,
Here is a bit of a mixed bag of Otises and in-laws. All are well documented, a few rubbed elbows with more famous people, and one is truly tragic.

Reverend Roland Cotton Smith

Margaret Sigourney Smith

Herbert Foster Otis

William Sigourney Otis

Harrison Gray Otis

Margaret Sigourney Otis

Rev. William Greenough Thayer ("Twill")

Violet Thayer

Tragic: Lieutenant John Stanley Parker

Thanks,

Jessie German

Alex Moes: re: 'duplicate' ... it was a possible "blue" match, but turned out not to be real (it was not a proposed match, i.e.: not a duplicate with a blue +).

Alex, is this the profile you were looking for.

Wife #2 =. Annigje Jans Leulofs

Dan, it was a "blue" match when the profile was mastered.

I don't understand why it was "blue" in the first place if not "real"...

Dan- thanks for the pm message re '''real"

I split wife#2 from wife#1 probably less than an hour before i asked for the MPs so i imagine that the tree matching algorithm was comparing the new data in wife#2 to the cached data of wife #1 which would have looked like a near perfect match even though i had already edited wife #1 to remove that data from the actual profile. Once the database cache updated the match then disappeared. At least that's my guess.

Done

Thanks Angus

Marmaduke Thweng, 1st Baron Thweng
Isabel de Ros, Lady de Thweng

These are on the tree but have referenced them and Isabel's parents may be wrong on existing.

Putting them here for curator revision and merge.

PS. Just popped in, best wises back soon

Well, Isabel seems right and should perhaps be a managed profile, but Marmaduke has two parents and at least nine (perhaps ten) children to enter and probably merge before his profile is good enough. I think they are probably mostly on Geni but unmerged.

Dear Curators,
Back from a vacation to the Redwoods and wondering if my list above got lost in the sauce? Is there something I need to correct on those profiles?
Thanks,
Jessie German

Jessica,
Thank you for bringing this list to our attention again. I've made all of them MP. I discovered I'm related in one way or another to all of them.
Nice profiles.

Dear Tammy,
Thanks!
Jessie German

Your ancestry is so vast! I'm sure you are a main branch in the big tree. T

Dear Curators,

Continuing my march through the maze of Otises I found:

Emily Otis , who, apparently, was the most beautiful woman on the east coast, if not the world! Tragically, she died at 29.

Her husband, William Foster Otis , while not recorded as being the most handsome man in the world, was nonetheless quite successful.

Thanks,
Jessie German

otis.. why does that name sound familar.. is it the elevator company magnet? Jessica Marie German?

These Otises are from early New England families, from long before elevators were invented.
