Resolving Profile merges that don't

Philip, I sent the Aslaug to Susanna Barnevik, who is the curator for that profile. Anytime you come across a Master Profile that you have questions about, please contact that curator. The profile for Sigurd has no pending merges, but the one for Aslaug had 4 pending merges.

Be sure that the box "include collaborators" is turned off. Also can you post the URL of an incomplete merge example to analyze?

No, this one I cannot do. Do you have "family group" rights with the manager? They can do it.

I made that profile deceased for you. BUT I had to remove it from the merge in order to do so. So you will have to merge it back. It is VERY strange that you had this problem, as YOU are the manager of this profile. Did you actually try pressing the "Edit Profile" link?

unfortunately there has been a lot of bad merges in the area.
Thanks for taking me to this area of the tree.

The main problem is, that Aslaug Kraka Sigurdsdatter is constantly merged together with her granddaughter Aslaug Sigurdsdatter.

The links you had - are they gone now?
If possible send one or all of them to me (directly by message to me) and I shall try and make them dissappear for you.

I just took a look at the "to be deleted" line and I cannot "remove this profile." Do you have any thoughts on a good merge pattern?

I think that despite collaborators, we cannot "remove" this profile, as we are not "managers." But I am not sure so I am going to tag for another curator to also take a look.

Different issue from the "manager" named "to-be-deleted" ....
