I have my doubts that Alice d'Oilly or de Oilly married Gilbert Bassett Ralph Bassett, Justiciar of England
supported by what it says in Medlands:
From
http://fmg.ac/Projects/MedLands/ENGLISHNOBILITYMEDIEVAL3.htm#_Toc24...
Robert D'Oilly and Edith Fone had 3 children:
Henry, Gilbert & Alice (note Alice not Edith)

ALICE de Oilly . The primary source which confirms her parentage and marriage has not yet been identified. m ARNULF de Mandeville,
Ernulf de Mandeville
son of GEOFFREY de Mandeville Earl of Essex & his wife Rohese de Vere (-1178).

This is saying that actually she married Arnulf de Mandeville and not GIlbert de Bassett. I can find no reference to Gilbert Bassett marrying Alice. Would anyone like to confirm this?
