Isn´t it legal to post names of bad collaborators, just to warn others, if they are actually screwing up other peoples work ?

@Remi it is better just to leave them here, undo them make no sence
@Erik, you could do that, but for what purpose, it doesn't merge anything.
But I totally agree, we all have a big problem with not collaborating managers.
And I have no good idea how to solve

It is not possible to here discuss what is legal and what is not. We are living in different countries and under different laws.
Only thing what can matter is where the server(s) are located, and what laws are used there, but even these laws do not usually affect foreigners.
The problem is, as I see it, that Geni wants to accept persons who for different reasons do not want to do teamwork ( I do not like the word collaborate ) but they haven't found the way for eating the cake whitout loosing it.
The information you don't know about do not hurt you, therefore I'm asking for a solution where people (information) managed by only these persons should be totally in their own world. They don't see Us, We don't see them.
Let them play their game, they have the right to do so, but if You are giving nothing that's what you get.

@Torbjørn Nilsen your Hibbards are done.

@David -- Kris Stewart can do Norman Stewart.

For the Wheelock's maybe Private User can help you or Private I am in Paul's family group but not Eric's

Dear freinds

I haven't been using this opertunety very much, I did rather try to collaborate with the managers, but must admit, that isn't always possible, so lets try to get them solved in this manner!!

For a start:
Ken Rice, William Harden Waesche, Dawn Packness Illingworth Mcfarlane, , Christian Sverdrup Engelschiøn:

By the way, I think I have asked once before, Is it better not to make a request to the "not responding manager" or doesn't it matter?

best regards - and a merry Christmas to all of you.
Günther

I have sent dozens of merge requests that have been ignored, and I would like to get help with them. I would like to help others with theirs requests also, however, I do not know how to go about it. Can anyone tell me how?

Thank you Pam!

Tiffany - basically - if you are collaborating with someone you may be able to complete the merge on their behalf. Basically - we are all posting merges that we have tried to resolve with the parties involved directly, but haven't had any luck. So - this is kind of the Le Brea tarpit of unresolved merges. We post the url for it - and hope that someone out there can pull us out before we drown in despair...

Wonderful! I will try to post my worst ones. There is one manager in particular that I have had problems with (his name has been mentioned here a lot). I will also check some of these to see if I can help.

Tiffany - Another suggestion would be to go to the list feature under relatives. Your name will appear as the default person of interest. In the field directly under that you can adjust to ancestors of. The group below that will allow you to select the living status as living. At the bottom left there will be a bos to generate the report. This will list all of your ancestors that are "living". In most cases you will find that there are many more that are "living" when that is not the case. Most of the time only our parents and grandparents are actually alive. If you edit the ones that you manage to deceased it will increase your odds of being a match to those that you are collaborating with. This helps to allow in your collab and family groups to help you with these as well. Hope this helps some!

@Pam: I did some of your requests, maybe not there you're intersting. Sorry.

@Denise Unander,

I did the two you requested [as much as I was allowed to] as these are now pending others to further approvals?

@Lúcia : Thank you, my friend! It's good to see you on here after I've been away for a few months. I'm not sure what you are saying "sorry" for--you're very helpful always! Feliz natal!

Susanna, I couldn't help much, but I did merge profile managed by the Ken Mullins so you are down to 20!

Susanna, I got it down to 16.

In other news. Skip Bremer tells me he is "closing his tree." I'm not sure if that means he's closing his Geni account (in which case we'd just claim all his profiles) or he's deleting all his FG and collaborators and making his profiles private. What to do?

Is Krystal Fawcett active, or if not, does anyone have Krystal Fawcett permissions?

Susanna, I was able to do the Roger Cook merge on Robert II. Sorry I couldn't help more! Looks like you're down to 15.

Private User these have all been completed or requested.

This is a combination of new and reposted merge requests. Much appreciation to those who can help to get some of these merged!
