Merge Issues 6

@tiffany: I think also everyone should delete old posts in this thread - but it was easier to find them before the new system.

As an example to what I've posted, earlier, regarding old pending merges; look at the following link and take a close look at the date of the 2 left pending merges

@ofir: yes, that is terrible.
But remember, that sometimes when one makes a merge one forget to follow through and send requests. It is not certain that this is the two mergers fault, it can also be up to the main manager, failing to send requests.
I sometimes find my profiles in stacked merges and I have never got a request.

Sometimes, when you merge, it builds a mountain of blue bubbles that all have to be taken care of one by one by the main manager - or the one that made the merge (you).
So - when you make a merge - take some time to clean up the tree from blue bubbles as well.

I have done all the merges I could on the above + sent a message this afternoon (swedish afternoon that is) explaining to faith what to do when the hibbards are done.
there are no difficults really, just a lot of jigsaw to do, but no bad merges that I could notice.

Kevin Lawrence Hanit, I got your Beatrice de Lavalle de Vaux profile merged from 39 down to 19. I'm surprised that Geni didn't put Bjorn as the main manager, though, when I merged his profile. However, now that Bjorn is one of the managers, you should have edit/merge permissions.
