I invite you to discuss the fact of presence of three more children (daughters) mentioned in the Kazimierz of Krakow census report from 1790: Malka, Anna and Defla. Does anybody know about their existence? All of their families lived in the same house №53.
Each family of Isaak Lewy’s daughters introduced by their husbands’ names: word ZİĘĊ in Polish language means “SON-IN-LAW”. There are three of them mentioned under this status: Ephraim, Moyszesz and Josef.

What do you about all this?

Hi Bella,
They all belong to the family of Szymon Bass(a), aged 63.
They also lived in House 53 but there is no evidence the Bass family was related to our Lewitos / Lewin / Lewi family.
I stood in front of the house, or its more recent replacement, a couple of weeks ago.
Best, Simon

Hi, Simon,
Thank you for clarifying this!
Apparently also family Landau lived in: Moyszesz and Malka. Was there any other census maid since 1790? How it is known about the family Bass?

All the best,
Bella

Hi, Bella,
How do I know they belong to the Bass family?
Because of the sequence of entries in the census.
It is not super clear, but it looks like Szymon Bassa is head of another family living in that house and the names below him are of members of his household.
Best,
Simon
