There were two profiles of men, both named Christiaan Johannes White, and they have been merged. However, these are not the same men.
They were born a year apart, had two different wives each, had two different occupations, and lived in two different provinces.
The original profile of Christiaan Johannes White is that of my great-grandfather, who lived in the Transvaal and was married in 1930 to Gertruida Johanna Philippina Lourens and had two sons: Christiaan Johannes White and Marthinus Gerhardus White. He later divorced and married again in 1950 to Cornelia (Cora) Dorothea White and had 3 daughters: Isobel, Priscilla, and Christine.
His Baptism Record states his birthdate as 12 Jul 1907 and his parents as Christiaan Johannes White and Jacoba Maria Susanna Redelenghius. He died in April 1983 in the Transvaal.
The second profile is that of a man with the same name, who lived in the Cape and was married to Amy Gladys Maryann White and Cathleen Britz Reinders. This man was born in 1910, according to his marriage records.
I'm assuming these two men are related, as per the traditional Afrikaans naming pattern.
